The SecureFilter is a specially tailored and hardened Debian based Linux system developed for firewall purpose.

Main features of the SecureFilter system:

• optimised kernel for firewall purposes (i386)
• hardened kernel with LIDS
• netfilter/iptables based firewall support
• essence firewall-configuring system
• support for dynamic routing protocols

The SecureFilter system was supported by NIIF in 2003. and 2004. as Firewall project Tűzfal and supported by GVOP (GVOP-3.1.1.-2004-05-0532/3.0) Campus IPv6 project.
