Database services
On one hand database services is the collective term of hosting MySQL and PostgreSQL databases on NIIF infrastructure. These databases can either be used as standalone data sources or as backends for NIIF-hosted web pages. On the other hand it also means some textual databases in which NIIF helped to develop.
SQL databases
Registrants can administer databases through both command line (CLI) and web-based PHPMyAdmin interface.
To register for a MySQL or a PostgreSQL database service, please use the web registration form indicating either if a database backend is needed, or if only simple database is needed without web. For a backend database the database name, the administrator name, and admin password need to be highlighted. For standalone database registrations, the IP address of the SQL clients should also be indicated.
Textual databases
There are numerous databases being available on NIIF's central infrastructure, such as:
- EMSZ : Erdélyi Magyar Elektronikus Szótörténeti Tár
