Videotorium: video sharing for research and education

NIIF Institute launched its own developed "Videotorium" higher-education and research video sharing portal in September 2010, which offers an easy and free way to share multimedia materials recorded in higher-education institutions, research organisations and public collections. Videotorium offers many innovative services including slide upload/synchronization, OCR supported search, complex metadata modell, theasaurus based description of content, etc.

Videotorium is the successor of our Video on Demand (VoD) archive, which was created for the retrieval of scientific events, conferences, seminars and other events recorded by us.

As of now, Videotorium features approximately 2500 educational recordings.
