NIIF Institute offers NTP service being available at the edge of the academic backbone network service for both registered researchers and NIIF member institutions. On the HBONE network NTP service is build in a hierarchical way following the connectivity of network devices, i.e. the backbone switches and routers.

Since NTP access is protected by filters, it is required from registrants to indicate the IP address where they want to access NTP service from, as well as the HBONE endpoint.
